Right here is where you comment to win a different book every day through September 19, 2010.
Today’s book giveaway is from Academy Award nominee & NY Times essayist Nora Ephron of When Harry Met Sally & Sleepless in Seattle fame. In I Feel Bad About My Neck, Nora has her readers in stitches discussing her obsessions, life in the Big Apple and how it really is to be a woman of a certain age.
To win this hardcover, comment to this post with your answer to below question. If more than one person answers correctly, the winner will be selected at random from those who post correct answers today. Check my Facebook wall tomorrow for the winner and the answer.
Which demographic buys the most books?
Millennials, Gen Xers, Boomers or the Greatest Generation?

Gen Xers, hopefully.
Boomers
On the basis of no facts other than our personnel spending, I’m going to say Gen Xers.
I think it’s Boomers. They, generally speaking, have the numbers, the money, and the time.
Helen
I’m going to say the Boomers!!
Definitely the Boomers….I am one…and I KNOW. Tee Hee.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter.
Boomers! We love to read!
I see my mom so I’m going to say the Boomers.
I think it’s the Boomers
I’m going with Boomers. Biggest age group, biggest disposable incomes.
Boomers
I wish to think it is my generation, the Boomers.
Being somewhere between the Boomers and the Greatest Generation, I’m going with the Boomers because I buy lots of books and so do my friends (almost all of which are younger than I).
I would think Boomers, by virtue of the fact that they are now of retirement age, with more free time. The Greatest Generation is downsizing, Millennials, Gen Xers are in the midst of establishing themselves and their lifestyles… So I agree with the majority, Boomers it is!
Another vote for the Boomers!
Boomers! We know what we want & have the money & time to do it…cause I am one too!
Boomers! We grew up with a small selection of television channels & video games were not invented.
Love & Hugs,
Pam
Boomers.

This book sounds really good.
i think women boomers purchase the most books.
The boomer generation is the largest purchasing generation, making up 30% of sales…
…per Bowker’s research.
I suspected as much since this is the largest group and still in their prime spending years, for the moment anyway.
This looks like a good book… one I haven’t read yet.
I’m going with the Boomers.

the ‘boomers’
I would guess Boomers.
I would guess Boomers. They may not be as geeky with all the gadgetry (including ebooks) as others.
