One of my new year’s resolutions is to get better at Social Networking. Is it one of yours too?
To improve the likelihood that a visitor will stay on your page, make sure your profile passes the 10-second test. If it does, that means who you are & why someone would want to follow you is apparent from your profile in ten seconds.
WHAT EFFECTIVE SOCIAL NETWORKING TIPS DO YOU HAVE TO OFFER? Leave me a comment and share with our audience.

Hi Stephanie, social networking is critical for authors in building buzz for their work – I have a whole list of them on this post http://www.thecreativepenn.com/2008/12/23/social-networking-site/including author specific, and general networks like Twitter – which is fast becoming my favourite! Thanks, Joanna
Thank you for this valuable article. I also enjoyed Joanna's comment/link. As a writer whose book is hitting the streets in June of 2010 (Lost in the Hive, PublishingWorks), I'm constantly looking for ways to increase exposure for a book I'm quite excited about. Thanks again…Brian
